Terms of service

1. Agreement

By creating an account on EasySalesBots (easysalesbots.com), you ("Customer") agree to these Terms of Service with {COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}("we", "us").

2. The service

We provide an AI-powered chatbot service. You upload documents; we process visitor conversations against those documents using large language model APIs; you can embed the resulting chatbot on your website.

3. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• One person or legal entity per account.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to:

• Host illegal content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content that promotes violence or hate speech.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, jailbreak our prompts, or probe for security vulnerabilities except through our disclosure process.
• Resell the Service as your own.
• Deploy the chatbot to facilitate fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content

• You retain ownership of documents you upload and any configuration you provide.
• You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the Service.
• You warrant that you have the right to upload all content you upload.

6. Bot outputs

The Service generates responses using AI. Responses are grounded in your documents but may contain errors. You are responsible for the content your bot produces. Review it. Test it. The bot is not a substitute for qualified advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.).

We disclaim liability for losses arising from bot responses, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• Prices are in USD. Taxes additional where applicable.
• You authorize us to charge the payment method on file at each renewal.
• If a payment fails, we will retry and email you. If we cannot collect within 14 days, we may suspend your Service.

8. Refunds

7-day money-back guarantee.If you're not satisfied, request a refund within 7 days of your most recent paid invoice — we'll process it, no questions asked. Refund + cancellation are a single action.

• One refund per account, lifetime.
• Outside the 7-day window: no refunds.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of your billing period.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel anytime via your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.

10. SLA

We aim for high availability but make no formal SLA guarantees below Enterprise tier. Enterprise customers receive a written SLA as part of their agreement.

11. Intellectual property

• The Service (software, design, trademarks) belongs to us.
• Your content belongs to you.
• Aggregate, anonymized usage metrics may be used to improve the Service.

12. Model training

We do not train AI models on your content. Our underlying model provider (Anthropic) does not train on API traffic. See privacy.anthropic.com.

13. Termination

We may terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service. We will give reasonable notice where practical.

14. Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

15. Limitation of liability

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of {JURISDICTION}. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of {JURISDICTION}.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes: 30 days notice by email.
