What counts as a chat?

One visitor session. If a visitor sends 1 message or 20 messages in a single sitting, that's one chat. Sessions close after 30 minutes of inactivity. We use this model because it matches how people actually use chatbots — and it matches our underlying cost curve, so we don't have to pass per-message anxiety onto you.

Your bot keeps running when you hit your limit — ongoing conversations complete. New chats see a polite fallback pointing visitors to your support email until you upgrade or the next cycle begins.
